Change Order of Email Accounts in Outlook

Changing the order that accounts are displayed in Outlook is not as simple as other email browsers.

Outlook puts the Main account at the top and other accounts below that are listed Alphabetically.

So if you want to change the order of the accounts in Outlook,  just add a letter of the alphabet in front of the Account name – this won’t show up in emails.

For instance, say you have these accounts –

fred@

info@

support@

fredblogs@

to change the order-

AAA fredblogs@

BBB fred@

CCC Support@

DDD info@

    Hi Rob,

Thanks for the information. I followed the steps you outlined. I even tried with numbers and it didn’t work. Is it because I’m using Outlook for Mac, maybe the rules are different. It’s more annoying than anything, but doesn’t affect functionality.

    Thanks,

    Michael
